Others

Vegan Publishers has been known to post sexist memes on their Facebook page, respond with gas-lighting to women who question them, and delete threads. This organization has also used rape memes to promote veganism.

Notes

1. Pornography is a highly subjective concept. In the context of Nonhuman Animal advocacy, we take it to mean images taken specifically for the male gaze (such as nude or semi-nude photographs with no mention of animal liberation, as with Vegan Pinup) and the performance of sex acts (Such as PETA’s Veggie Love Casting).
2. FARM itself does not engage these tactics, but funds organizations that do through their Sabina Fund
